This is a Stunning and Rare 1975 Rolex “Red Letter” Submariner In a Mint Condition. Amazing example Rolex Red Submariner SS ref 1680 serial #3 million circa 1975. Featuring 40 mm diameter case with bi-directional elapsed time bezel with original back insert with antique color pearl, acrylic crystal, and gorgeous and distinctive natural color change dial. The luminous of the dial have evolved naturally. Powered by calibre 1570 self winding movement with sweep seconds and date.
This watch is in incredible condition. It was recently serviced. The serial number is 3,XXX,XXX.
The crystal is perfect, the band is a 93150 and in great shape. It has a Mark IV dial that is in perfect condition as well.
The watch does not include a box or paperwork. The “Red” Sub 1680 is one of the most notable vintage Submariners out there. This example has a gorgeous patinated Mark IV dial. 100% Original.
